Chelsea have the very first happy meetings with one of main options if Potter gets sacked

Despite Graham Potter appearing to be on the verge of turning things around, Chelsea are still preparing for a future without him, according to reports from Germany that they are interested in Julian Nagelsmann.

The Englishman succeeded Thomas Tuchel earlier this year and was entrusted with maximizing a large squad, which he initially struggled to achieve.

Chelsea have subsequently regained their form, but now it has been reported that the club has made contact with Nagelsmann. Journalist Rudy Galetti tweeted the news.

He claims that “initial favorable contacts” had been made between the German manager and “some Chelsea people.”

The former Bayern Munich player is one of the London club’s “primary choices” for next season, along with Luis Enrique, should they decide to part ways with Graham Potter in the near future or at the end of the current campaign.

Chelsea is presently tenth in the Premier League standings with 38 points after 27 games, 11 points behind fourth-place Tottenham, who have played 28 games.

Bayern Munich just fired Nagelsmann despite winning all eight Champions League games and being only one point behind Borussia Dortmund in the league.

Three Chelsea legends have now been nominated for a place in the Premier League Hall of Fame

The names of former Chelsea superstars John Terry, Ashley Cole, and Petr Cech have been added to the list of candidates for induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

The Premier League tweeted out their 15 nominations for this year’s coveted award, and the three players are among the best players the country has ever produced.

Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard, two more Premier League luminaries who also won the Champions League, have also been inducted into the exclusive club in recognition of their time spent playing for the league.

As a result of the fact that eight players have been admitted into the Hall of Fame in each of the last two years, there is a significant possibility that the Blues will have another member or two entered this year.

In recent years, both Terry and Cole have made their way back to the club in order to take on coaching responsibilities. In this capacity, they have been sharing their knowledge and experience with some of the younger players at the club in the hopes of preparing them for a spot on the first team.

On the other side, Cech was part of the board of directors while Roman Abramovich was the owner of the club.

Nominations for the Premier League Hall of Fame include Terry, Cole, and Cech

However, as a result of the change in ownership, there have been personnel changes made, and the previous goalkeeper stepped down from his position a year ago.

When all of these players were on the team at the same time from the middle of the 2000s until the middle of the 2010s, the club was able to win a number of Premier League trophies, in addition to a large number of other domestic and European accolades, thanks to this extraordinarily successful run.

It will be interesting to see whether players from the club’s past who have competed in the Premier League are considered for induction into the Hall of Fame now that it has become an annual event.

The current group almost certainly includes some of the nominees for future positions. When N’golo Kante eventually hangs up his cleats as a player, there is no doubt that his career will be honored due to the impact he had on two teams that won championships.

Cesar Azpilicueta has also been incredibly trustworthy and successful over the past decade, and the fact that he has won every trophy that is now available will not go unnoticed by those who are responsible for making judgments.
